The karate kid

Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) is a 12 years old boy who could be the most popular in the city of Detroit, the United States, but her mother's career just took them to the city of Beijing, China. In the new country, Dre met his classmate Mei Yin, who becomes her friend, but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre's feelings make students bully and kung fu prodigy, Cheng, become his enemy, causing Dre suffer bullying at the Cheng's friends hands, unable to react. No friends in the new city, Dre has no one to turn to except the janitor of his building Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), who is secretly a master of kung fu.As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is more punches and skill, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing the class bullies will be the adventure of a lifetime.
