Chris Gardner is a family man who faced many financial difficulties, selling medical devices that nobody wants to buy because they are very expensive. Gardner becomes obstinate struggle for survival and sustenance of his family. He gets a job trainee at a major stock brokerage firm, but does not receive remuneration for their services, however, persists, believing that the future can be hired. His wife leaves him and he is forced to take care of the child alone for just five years old. Amid all the problems, they are evicted from the apartment where they live for nonpayment, and have to sleep in subway stations, public toilets and hostels. Still, believes that better days will come.
